Rohit Or Virat? Know Huma Qureshi’s Smart Response On Her Favourite Cricketer

Cricket is no less than religion in India and the fans worship cricketers as the latter assume demi-god status.

The passion for the game is so much that it often gets insane at times. However, the game also unifies the country. With ‘Captain Cool’ MS Dhoni playing only in the Indian Premier League (IPL), current team India skipper Rohit Sharma and former captain Virat Kohli are arguably the most popular cricketers among the fans.

Recently, during an interaction on the sidelines of OTV's annual conclave 'Foresight-2022’, which was held in Bhubaneswar on March 4, Bollywood's versatile actress Huma Qureshi was asked to pick her favourite Indian cricketer and the two options she was given were Rohit and Virat.

Huma seemed to have spoilt for choice for a while. But, she played it smart in the next moment as she specifically mentioned that she loves Kohli.

But when prodded further to nominate her favourite from the two, Huma preferred to play it straight. She said Rohit remains her favourite cricketer.

“Shut up. No, I can’t do this,” was Huma’s initial response to the question.

But after a little persuasion and when reminded that Kohli is playing his 100th Test match, the versatile actress said, “ Love you Kohli…Rohit Sharma.”
