Since a few months, rumours have been abuzz about Yash's upcoming movie tentatively titled Yash19. As per the buzz, Mufti fame Narthan will helm the next project. However, there was no official confirmation regarding it.
But now, Yash has cleared the air about his upcoming project.
As told by Yash to Cinema Express, since the last two years, he has been asked about his next flick. "If I had spoken about it back then it wouldn't have mattered now. So, let's keep it that way. Also, I don't believe in the act of announcing a new film on birthdays," Yash was quoted by the agency as saying.
Further, he clarified that just because he was not doing new films, it didn't mean he was idle.
"I am a workaholic. During this lockdown, I have got myself busy with writing. Whenever I want to take up a new project, I don't want to go by my previous success," he said.
Yash also went on to say that every new film should be a new chapter, and he wants it to be a visual spectacle. The Rocking Star wishes that the audience should wake up with excitement.
"I have a project that will make me go 'wow'. For it, I have to accumulate the right kind of resources and people," Yash said.
Talking about the highly anticipated flick KGF Chapter 2, Yash said he is quite excited for the way the movie and anticipation for it has shaped now. Right now, the bars are set high and expectations of moviegoers from KGF 2 is higher and Yash aims to exceed those.
While fans are eagerly waiting for the release date of KGF Chapter 2, Yash himself is quite eager to see the reaction of the audience.
KGF Chapter 2 release date is locked for April 14 this year which is only 95 days away.
Hopefully, the worsening pandemic situation and 3rd wave will settle down and as Yash expects a 100% audience in the theatres, the Monster will hit the theatres when it is filled with gangsters (audience).
