Ridhima Pandit addresses dating rumours with Shubman Gill amid marriage speculation

Television Actress Ridhima Pandit was in the spotlight due to swirling rumours linking her romantically with Indian cricketer Shubman Gill. Earlier reports suggested that the 'Bahu Hamari Rajnikant' star was scheduled to marry Shubman in December in Jaipur, Rajasthan. However, Ridhima has firmly dismissed these marriage rumours and termed it 'baseless'.

Ridhima has now responded to the ongoing speculations about her relationship status. In an interview with Filmygyan, Ridhima was directly questioned about dating Shubman Gill. She categorically stated, “No ! Firstly, I don't even know him. I think he's an amazing sports person, but main unhe jaanti nahi. Jab main kabhi unhe milungi, I am pretty sure hum log hasenge iss baare mei . I think he is very, very cute, but unfortunately, there's nothing that is happening.”

Responding to the earlier wedding rumours in May, Ridhima took to Instagram Stories to clarify her stance, emphasizing, “I woke up with a lot of calls from journalists asking about my marriage, but what marriage? I am not getting married and if something important like this is happening in my life I myself would come out and announce the news, there is no truth to this news.”

In June, following the persistent rumours, Ridhima shared a cryptic post on social media, expressing her stance on privacy. She reshared an Instagram post and wrote, "After yesterday (Friday) and the whole of this morning (Saturday), I am not sure if it is a wise idea to confirm the same, but yes… I might not look like a private person, but I am." 

She further added, "My milestones are something that I will always, always share with you all. I would never hide it because why? Rumours are essentially someone's figment of imagination. I don't wish to entertain them. I always want to be in the news for the right reasons, and my audiences know that. So, thank you for all the love always. Ted talk over and out..."

As of now, cricketer Shubman Gill has not publicly addressed the marriage speculation. Previously, there were rumours linking him romantically with Sara Tendulkar, daughter of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar.
