Remember the gorgeous Barbara Mori from Hrithik Roshan’s movie ‘Kites’? The actress who created a tremendous buzz after marking her Bollywood debut with Kites alongside Hrithik Roshan has been away from the limelight for quite some time now.
‘Kites’ was a big-budget film with high expectations. But the film failed miserably at the box office and became one of Hrithik Roshan’s biggest flops in his career. The Uruguyan-Mexican actress did not get any work in Bollywood owing to the flop verdict of the movies.
Apart from Hrithik Roshan and Barbara, the film directed by Anurag Basu and produced by Rakesh Roshan had an ensemble cast of Kangana Ranaut, Kabir Bedi and many other acclaimed actors.
‘Kites’ was her only Bollywood film and the stunning diva disappeared from Indian screens after the release of the romantic thriller. The Mexican beauty hasn’t made any movies in Hindi or other regional languages since then.
Moreover, Barbara Mori’s alleged affair with Hrithik Roshan caused quite a stir on social media. There were reports that Hrithik Roshan’s divorce with ex-wife Sussanne Khan was mainly due to his alleged affair with Barbara. However, all of them have always maintained that they are just good friends.
Soon after, there were reports that the actress was diagnosed with breast cancer. However, the gorgeous actress defeated cancer and is doing well now. Although, she may have disappeared from films in India, she is getting a lot of offers in her country.
Her recent film was ‘Perdios en la noche’ which received good reviews from critics and audiences.
Talking about her personal life, Barbara has been married twice. She has a son with actor Sergio Mayer. However, the couple separated shortly after. In 2016, she wed baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman only to be divorced in 2017.
