Rashmika Mandanna
After pulling an all-nighter on the sets of her upcoming film Thama, Rashmika Mandanna surprised fans with a heartwarming message to start their day on a bright note.
Taking to Instagram, Rashmika shared a casual, selfie-style video filled with affection and sleepy charm. “Hi guys, good morning. I know it's super random. I just shot for the entire night, hence the red eyes, but I just wanted to randomly drop this message saying a very, very good morning to you,” she said in the video.
She continued, “I hope you have a wonderful day, and here's me throwing a bit of positivity your way if at all you need it—and even if you don't need it, you just got it. Biggest love, biggest hugs, and big, big, big kisses.”
In the caption, she added a cheerful note: “A random reminder for you to smile and have a freaking awesome day! EVERYDAY!”
Her message quickly went viral, with fans flooding the comment section with heart emojis, love notes, and warm responses to her thoughtful gesture.
The actress recently turned 29 and celebrated her birthday in Oman. A few days later, on April 9, she informed fans that she was back to work. Sharing a glimpse of the night sky on her Instagram Stories, Rashmika wrote:
“Shooting nights for the next couple of days… So the only posts and stories you'll get of us is of either the moon or the camera lights or the stars (which in our city is impossible to see) Agreed?"
Back in March, Rashmika gave fans a sneak peek behind the scenes, sharing a candid photo of Thama director Aditya A. Sarpotdar monitoring the shoot. “He’s the one keeping me up with these night shoots,” she hinted playfully.
Thama tells the story of a determined historian who dives into ancient manuscripts and uncovers dark secrets tied to vampire folklore. As supernatural forces awaken, he finds himself at the center of a battle for the town’s soul.
Directed by Aditya Sarpotdar—best known for Munjya—Thama marks his first collaboration with both Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana. The film also stars Paresh Rawal and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in key roles.
Produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik, and penned by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara, Thama is presented by Maddock Films as part of its blockbuster horror-comedy universe. Described as a gripping love story set against a bloody backdrop, the film promises a thrilling ride.
