When Rashmika was asked about her earliest memory of cinema, and how it impacted her, she replied that she never saw herself as an actor and never believed she could be one.

“I was always fascinated with cinema. I also auditioned for a few roles but nothing came through, and because of that, I began making peace with the fact that acting was not my destiny,” she further added.

Later when she won the Times Fresh Face in 2014, she got a call from Paramvah Studios for auditioning for Sanvi Joseph’s character for a film called Kirik Party, which became her debut film. After which there was no turning back as she is going from strength to strength.

When she was questioned to mention the first movie she watched as a child which left a profound impact on her, she replied Taare Zameen Par, which she watched in School.

She also mentioned that Vijay and Trisha Krishnan’s Ghilli was also special to her as she had gone to the cinemas with her father to watch this Tamil film.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Rashmika will next be seen in Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor. She also has Allu Arjun's Pushpa: The Rule in the pipeline. The Pushpa sequel will release in theatres later this year.
