Rasha Thadani, Sreeleela
Rasha Thadani made her Bollywood debut this year with Azaad, a movie that flopped badly. Although a few of the young actress' dance moves and her constant social media presence have ensured that she is constantly in the buzz, as an actress, she has yet to make a mark. So when the news about Rasha Thadani replacing Sreeleela in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2 surfaced online, web users were shocked.
It is a proven fact that outsiders have to struggle a lot to get good projects in Bollywood. While those with no connections in the film industry go from door to door to get an audition, star kids have it all laid out for them. Despite all these privileges most of them have failed to make a mark in the industry, especially those star kids who made their debut in the last 8 to 9 years.
The latest example is that of Rasha Thadani who has now replaced Sreeleela opposite Kartik Aaryan in Pati Patni Aur Woh 2. Since she has strong backing from her famous mother Raveena Tandon and wealthy father Ashok Thadani (leading distributor of movies in India) Rasha Thadani can survive years together in this industry even if she gives back-to-back flops.
Social media users have started commenting on this latest replacement saying, “Parents of these kids would rather burn their money on their talentless kids than give a chance to a deserving artist.”
Another user said, “But the point is despite flopping hard they just aren’t disappearing.” And that is a fact. The last star kids to succeed were Varun Dhawan and Alia Bhatt whereas the likes of Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Sara Ali Khan, or even Athiya Shetty are still to reach the top of the ladder.

A few users also pointed out that there is a huge gap of 14 to 15 years between Rasha Thadani and Kartik Aaryan. While the young actress turned 20 recently, Koki is 34 years old. Nonetheless, for outsiders there is no choice but to work with actors in projects that are offered to them at the start irrespective of the age gap.
But many web users wondered what could have forced a privileged star kid like Rasha Thadani to accept a role against a male lead who is more than a decade older than her.
Not surprisingly, Reddit users seem to have the right answer that says, “Huge age gaps creep me out... The problem is that they all want to work opposite a successful star so they get an easy hit and visibility ... We have this plethora of teen girls debuting but no semi-successful male lead in their 20s... Karthik is probably the "youngest" bona-fide star they can find....”
