Football legend Lionel Messi has rightly proved that he is the GOAT after leading Argentina to FIFA World Cup triumph in Qatar. The Argentina star has been the most talked about person recently.

Be it celebrities, politicians or world leaders, everyone is in awe of Messi. Even the world’s richest man Elon Musk could not stay away from flying to Qatar to watch the final match.

Meanwhile, Bollywood celebrities like Ranveer Singh, Kartik Aaryan, Ishaan Khatter, Ananya Panday and many others turned out to be huge Messi fans.

Ranveer Singh even flew to Qatar along with his wife Deepika Padukone to witness the spectacular match while the latter unveiled the trophy. The beautiful couple was later spotted enjoying the game and hugging each other after Messi’s historic win.

However, Ranveer seems to be still in the football hangover as he shared a photoshopped picture of himself with Messi. Taking to his Instagram handle, Ranveer shared the hilarious photoshopped picture and wrote, “Just because you know photoshop doesn’t mean you photoshop me out @rohanshrestha.”

For the uninitiated, Rohan Shrestha is the rumoured boyfriend of actress Shraddha Kapoor and is a celebrity photographer by profession. He had gone to capture the FIFA World Cup champion Messi in his lens.

In the edited photo, we can see Ranveer on one side and Rohan on the other side while Messi is in the middle. Ranveer can be seen posing with his arms on Messi’s shoulders.

The hilarious Instagram post has garnered over 537K likes and over 6,000 comments. Many fans and users could not stop themselves but add laughing emojis in the comments section.

A user wrote, “Haters are gonna say, this is edited,” while another wrote, “Hilarious.”

“Messi bhi apki picture promote karne aya tha kya (Had Messi also come to promote your film),” questioned another user.

On the professional front, Ranveer will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus also starring Jacqueline Fernandez and Pooja Hegde. The star cast is now on a promotion spree for the film, released on December 23.
