Recently, there were reports that everything was not well between the couple after Deepika Padukone seemingly refused to hold the hands of Ranveer at the Indian Sports Honours award event.
The video shows Deepika ignoring Ranveer even as he extended his hand. Fans wondered if the couple was going through a rough phase after the video went viral on social media. However, both Ranveer and Deepika shut the trolls and rumours with their PDA at the NMACC launch ceremony in Mumbai.
After seeing the latest video, a fan wrote, “Ab Kahan gaye divorce-divorce gaane waale.”
Another fan commented, “Shame on these photographers and paid PR who were spreading rumours based on one little incident of missing to hold hand in saree. It’s a big slap on haters who want them to separate.”
The ‘Bajirao Mastani’ actors later met Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas who were also present at the event. Many other big celebrities including superstar Salman Khan graced the occasion.
On the work front, Deepika will be next seen in Hrithik Roshan’s ‘Fighter’ while Ranveer Singh is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie ‘Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani’ with Alia Bhatt which is directed by Karan Johar.
