Ranveer Singh controversies that shocked his co-stars and fans

Ranveer Singh is as much known for his movies as much for his flamboyant and sometimes even weird dressing style. The superstar wears his heart on his sleeves and is always full of josh be it at an event, during his airport appearances, and of course, while performing on the stage.

The Bajirao Mastani actor has rarely indulged in controversies or fights. But even then there are a few controversies that were triggered without his doing and some because he made some unexpected comments or statements that affected his other Bollywood colleagues. Paid Bollywood Debut

Ranveer debuted in Bollywood with YRF’s Band Baaja Baarat. While he did prove his acting skills right from the first movie, he certainly does not have that special chocolate boy or charming looks that most of the newcomers possess. But even then he got a big break under the YRF banner which triggered rumours that his Bollywood debut was sponsored by his dad who is a builder. However, nothing came out of these rumours, and over the years Ranveer has proved that it is not the money but his talent that has made him reach so far.

Controversial tweets and comments

Anushka and Ranveer shared a very close bonding when the two appeared on one of the episodes of Koffee with Karan. During the conversation, the Padmaavat actor embarrassed his Dil Dhakne Do co-star by asking whether she wants her ass pinched by him. It made Anushka very much uncomfortable while host Karan tried to make the moment lighter by laughing it away.

He even attracted a lot of flak for his comment on Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger released in 2012. After the release of this movie, Ranveer tweeted that the movie was a bore and most of the fans coming out of the theater were asking for Tiger balm. Later on, the actor said that he did not make that tweet and was made by an imposter.

Ranveer also was slammed when he made some unacceptable comments outside the JJ Hospital while promoting his movie Gully Boy.
