Ranbir Kapoor joins Vijay Deverakonda for VD12!

Vijay Deverakonda's upcoming flick, tentatively titled VD12, has been creating buzz. VD12's first poster featuring Vijay in a deadly and intense look while screaming in outrage standing in the rain elevated high excitement among fans. While fans have been waiting to delve more into VD12 and know more about Vijay's bloodshed look, according to a recent report Ranbir Kapoor has joined Vijay Deverakonda for the highly-anticipated flick.

As per the latest update, Ranbir Kapoor has lent his voice to the Hindi teaser of VD12. Well, this report has fueled the excitement among all and the unexpected collaboration of Ranbir and Vijay has heightened the anticipation.

The latest report by News 18 quoted an industry insider as saying, "Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for his much anticipated VD12 releasing this year. But what’s exciting is that Ranbir Kapoor has given the voice-over for the VD12 teaser which was recorded in Mumbai yesterday."

If the reports are anything to go by, Ranbir wrapped up the voiceover yesterday and the VD12 teaser is now ready.

Notably, VD12 is set to hit the theatres soon. The excitement among fans is elevated as Vijay Deverakonda is returning to the intense action genre. On Friday, Vijay shared a poster of VD12 and revealed that the title of the flick and the teaser will be unveiled on February 12.

The poster featured a crown amidst flames and the text on it read, "The silent CROWN Awaits the KING."

VD12 marks the return of Vijay into the action genre after Arjun Reddy. VD12 is helmed by National Award-winning filmmaker Gowtam Tinnanuri and produced by Naga Vamsi S and Sai Soujanya under Sithara Entertainments, Srikara Studios and Fortune Four Cinemas. Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in Prabhas-starrer Kalki 2898 AD in a cameo.
