Bollywood heartthrob Ranbir Kapoor, who has a huge fan following around the globe, is a die-hard fan of Natalie Portman who he had once met on New York streets.
However, the Saawariya star's meeting with his favourite actress didn't go well as he had thought.
Ranbir Kapoor opened up about the incident in 2016 when he went to The Kapil Sharma Show to promote one of his movies.
The Rockstar star narrated the incident to Kapil. Ranbir said he was rushing to use a washroom in a hotel and on his way, he saw the Thor actress on the streets of New York talking to someone over the phone. Seeing her, he ran to her and requested for a picture without realising that Natalie was crying.
The popular actress not just refused Ranbir for a picture but also angrily said, “Get lost, I say!”
Ranbir revealed that though his heart broke when Natalie snapped at him, that incident has not made him any less of her fan and if he happens to meet Natalie Portman on the streets again, he will again request for a picture.
On the work front, Ranbir's latest film Shamshera hit the theatre on July 22 and has been receiving rave reviews from critics and fans alike. Ranbir will next be seen in Brahmastra with Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna Akkineni, and Mouni Roy. He also has Luv Ranjan’s romantic drama, opposite Shraddha Kapoor.
