Ranbir Kapoor a 'womaniser and mumma's boy'! Here's how Alia Bhatt reacted
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are among the most talked about couples in Bollywood. Recently, Ranbir and Alia attended the birthday bash of filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and a video from the event has surfaced from the venue in which a fan is seen grabbing the hand of the actress to click a selfie. While Alia tried to free her, Ranbir tried to protect her. Amid this, Alia Bhatt has taken a stand to defend her husband, who is often surrounded with criticism and misconceptions of being a 'womaniser' and 'mumma's boy'.
Though fans love to watch Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt onscreen, they have been constantly under the glare of public scrutiny. A certain section of people have been critical of his behaviour and given him the tag of a 'womaniser', 'misogynist' and an 'unsupportive husband'.
Recently, Alia responded to a social media post that defended Ranbir Kapoor against the online criticism he has faced. The post read, "Funny how jealous people always call him red flag, womaniser, mumma’s boy etc. but Ranbir Kapoor literally included his wife and daughter’s initials in his brand’s name. If this is red flag then I guess it’s better than every so-called green flag on the internet."
Alia reacted to the post on Instagram and liked it.
The screenshot of the same has gone viral on Reddit and users have praised Alia, extending their support.
Well, this is not the first time that Alia defended her husband from online trolls. Some time back, a video of Ranbir Kapoor surfaced online that showed the Animal actor 'ignoring' his wife. The 'Barfi!' actor got brutally trolled by a few for such behaviour. However, defending RK, another fan shared footage showing the Saawariya star displaying affectionate care towards his wife Alia. He also lends his helping hand to Randhir Kapoor. The footage was from Raj Kapoor's 100th birth anniversary celebration. The clip was titled 'The Ranbir Kapoor they don’t post about’. The Gangubai Kathiawadi star defended her husband by liking the post.
