Yash has been shooting his part as Demon King Ravana for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana and the latest reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor is back on the set to film his part as Lord Ram. Amid this, reports surfaced that Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Vikrant Massey were roped in to play key roles. However, fresh reports reveal a different picture.

Nitesh Tiwari's ambitious project Ramayana is one of the much-awaited movies. Every buzz related to the movie and its cast has been generating huge excitement among fans. While Yash has been shooting his part as Demon King Ravana, the latest reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor is back on the set to film his part as Lord Ram. Amid this, reports surfaced that Anil Kapoor, Vivek Oberoi and Vikrant Massey were roped in to play key roles. However, fresh reports reveal a different picture.

Vivek Oberoi Roped In!

Actor Vivek Oberoi, who won the hearts of moviegoers with his powerful character portrayal in Company, Omkara and Krrish 3, has been reportedly roped in for Ramayana. The fresh report by Pinkvilla suggests that Tiwari has roped in Vivek to play a crucial role in his ambitious project. Reportedly, he will portray the character of Vidyutjihva, the prince of the Danava Clan who married Ravana's sister Shurpanakha, played by Rakul Preet Singh.

If the reports are anything to go by, Vivek Oberoi will have high-octane fight sequences with Yash. Considering the earlier reports, Vivek and Yash have possibly filmed the fight sequences or are on it. It would be definitely a visual treat to watch Yash and Vivek aka Ravana and Vidyutjihva's faceoff. 

Anil Kapoor and Vikrant Massey Not a Part of Ramayana!

According to the latest buzz, Anil Kapoor and Vikrant Massey were rumoured to be playing the roles of King Janaka and Prince Meghnad, respectively. However, according to the entertainment portal, Anil and Vikrant are not a part of Tiwari's cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic.
