Ramayana's Sai Pallavi rocks Marathi hit 'Apsara Aali' at sister's wedding Watch her sizzling performance

Sai Pallavi’s recent video dancing to the Marathi superhit song “Apsara Aali” has enhanced the expectations of Bollywood fans. The video clip shows the South Indian actress dancing to this Sonalee Kulkarni song very gracefully along with her sister Pooja. It was the Sangeet event of her sister’s wedding when the two sisters danced to this superhit Marathi song from the movie Natrang that had Atul Agnihotri in the lead.

While Sai did stumble one time during the dance, she quickly stood up and continued and all through the song looked very graceful and poised. Since she has been roped in to play the lead role of Goddess Sita in Nitesh Tiwari ’s upcoming Ramayana Bollywood fans are now watching her very closely.

Most of the movie buffs of Hindi cinema do not know much about Sai Pallavi and her body of work and hence they have been apprehensive about the selection of this Southern star as Sita opposite Ranbir Kapoor who is portraying the revered character of Lord Ram. The earlier leaked pictures of Sai and Ranbir as Sita and Ram also did not appeal to the web users much and they even felt that the casting was not proper.

This particular video however has received love from Marathi-speaking netizens which means Sai Pallavi might get accepted as Sita by Bollywood fans. The movie is being made in two parts and has some of the big names playing revered characters. While Sunny Deol has been roped in to play Lord Hanuman, KGF fame Sandalwood superstar is all set to play the negative character of Ravan. Lara Dutta is playing Surpanakha whereas telly star Ravi Dubey will play Lakshman.

Earlier Alia Bhatt was roped in for the role of Sita. But due to date issues she left Ramayana and after that several other actresses were contacted and finally Sai Pallavi was selected for this role.
