Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana has been creating a buzz for quite some time now. While the makers haven't yet made an official announcement about the movie and its ensemble cast, pictures and videos of sets in Mumbai have surfaced online. Now, a few pictures of Arun Govil, Lara Dutta, Sheeba Chaddha and child artists have surfaced on social media driving moviegoers crazy.

The pictures shared online show Arun Govil's King Dasharatha, Lara Dutta as Queen Kaikeyi and Sheeba Chaddha as Manthara. Moreover, the child artists essaying the role of Lord Ram and his brothers can also be seen in the pictures.

The exclusive pictures were shared by Zoom TV and have gone viral on social media driving moviegoers crazy. The pictures have been massively shared by netizens which describe the excitement among all for the upcoming movie Ramayana.

In the pictures, Govil can be seen in King's attire. While in a picture, Govil can be seen with a crown, in two other pics he is seen without a crown. In all pictures, he is seen with the child artists portraying the characters of Lord Ram and his siblings. 

On the other hand, Lara Dutta is all decked up as Queen Kaikeyi. In one picture she is seen with Sheeba Chaddha, in another pic she is seen walking.

Well, the recent pictures have not only confirmed that Ramayana is happening, rather it can be assumed that all the reports regarding the cast are true.

As per earlier reports, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi will essay the roles of Lord Ram and Devi Sita, respectively. Meanwhile, Sunny Deol will be seen as Lord Hanuman and Kannada Film Industry's Rocking Star Yash will portray Demon King Ravana's character. Rakul Preet Singh and Harman Baweja will be seen as Suprnakha and Vibhishan. While Wink Girl Priya Prakash Varrier has been reportedly roped in for Urmila, TV actors Ravi Dubey and Indira Krishnan will be seen as Lakshman and Queen Kaushalya.

Casting for other major characters is yet to be done as the first part of the planned trilogy will present Prince Ram's life before his exile.

Tiwari's cinematic adaptation of the Indian Epic is a pure and honest take. makers are being very cautious to do justice to every part that's written in the books.
