Actor Ram Charan shared insights into his upcoming film projects, notably Game Changer with ace director Shankar, after being bestowed with an honorary doctorate award from the prestigious Vels Univesity in Tamil Nadu.

Addressing queries about Game Changer's release, Ram Charan assured his fans that the film remains on schedule for a theatrical debut at the end of September or October. Set to release in five languages—Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam—the movie marks his first political drama.

Ram Charan, adorned with the honorary doctor of literature degree from Vels University, graced the event not only as the recipient but also as the chief guest. Dr. P. Veeramuthuvel, Chandrayan's project coordinator was also honoured on the occassion.

Game Changer, helmed by Shankar, currently occupies Ram Charan's filming schedule. The movie described as a political drama features Kiara Advani, as the female lead, reuniting with Ram Charan after their collaboration in Vinaya Vidheya Rama (2019). The ensemble cast also includes SJ Suryah, Srikanth, Sunil, and Anjali, among others.

Produced under the SVC banner by Dil Raju, Game Changer boasts Thaman S as its music composer. The first single, "Jaragandi," released a few weeks back, has already garnered significant attention with over 23 million views.

In addition to Game Changer, Ram Charan has committed to two other exciting projects. RC16, directed by Buchi Babu Sana, promises a village drama and features Janhvi Kapoor and Kannada actor Shiva Rajkumar. Meanwhile, RC17 reunites Ram Charan with director Sukumar for their second collaboration after the blockbuster Rangasthalam. AR Rahman is set to compose music for RC16.
