Ram Charan says ‘Award belongs to Indian Cinema’ after SRK requests to allow him to touch Oscar

RRR’s roar has been reverberating across the globe with its tremendous success. Currently, movie lovers have pinned high hopes on the flick at the prestigious Oscars this year. Meanwhile, Ram Charan has won the hearts of his fans as well as Shah Rukh Khan’s fans after his reply to the Bollywood superstar’s request. 

Earlier today, the official teaser of SRK’s Pathaan was dropped by its makers. While several celebrities from different regional film industries showered praises and wished luck to the entire team of Pathaan, Tollywood’s Mega Power Star Ram Charan wrote, “Wishing the whole team of #Pathaan all the very best! Shah Rukh Khan Sir looking fwd to seeing you in action sequences like never before! #PathaanTrailer."

Later, Shah Rukh thanked Ram for his kind words and requested him to let him touch the prestigious Oscar trophy.

“Thank you so much my Mega Power Star Ram Charan. When your RRR team brings Oscar to India, please let me touch it.(Mee RRR team Oscar ni intiki tecchinappudu okkasaari nannu daanini touch cheyyanivvandi). Love you," his Tweet read.

To this, Ram replied, “Of course @iamsrk Sir! The award belongs to Indian Cinema.”

Well, with such a humble reply, Ram has won the hearts of netizens. Many have hailed such a reply to SRK’s request. 

RRR movie, helmed by SS Rajamouli, has submitted its candidature for consideration in several Oscar categories. RRR features on the list of 301 films that are eligible for the awards. Nominations for the Oscars will be announced on January 24.
