Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh and HanuMan director Prasanth Varma teamed up for Rakshas, the next project of the superhero franchise. Even Ranveer had kicked off shooting for the flick. However, reports surfaced that after shooting for three days, Ranveer parted ways due to creative differences with Varma. However, recent reports hint that Ranveer and Varma are most likely to team up again for the project.

As per a recent report in Amar Ujala, Ranveer and Varma are still in touch with each other and are having a final round of discussions for the anticipated flick. If the reports are anything to go by, the duo will team up again and commence shooting as planned earlier.

Varma also revealed the reason behind the problems that led to differences between them.

The publication quoted Varma as saying, "Ranveer Singh has his style. He came to the office with a caravan of team members. However, in the South, the work culture is different. Everyone works together like a team here, and no one tries to make the other person feel small."

Further, Varma added that shopkeepers around his office and people who were present on the sets shared that Ranveer came with a caravan of cars on the sets and his team's behaviour wasn't good, which he didn't like. This led to problems and the duo parted ways.

However, it seems that Ranveer and Varma are trying to sort out the problems and make the project happen together.

If the earlier reports are anything to go by, it was Ranveer who wanted to work with Varma as the Simmba actor loved HanuMan. On the other hand, Varma wanted to work on another Telugu project before working on the second installment of the superhero franchise. However, considering Ranveer's excitement, Varma agreed to commence work on Rakshas and kicked off the shooting.

As per media sources, the Padmaavat actor sent a text message to Varma saying that he 'won't be able to work in the movie' after shooting for three days which later was leaked to Mumbai media houses.

Following the reports of Rakshas being shelved, it was claimed that Mythri Movie Makers, bankrolling the flick, reportedly, suffered a loss of Rs 20 crores as the promo shoot was done for the official announcement of the project.

Notably, Rakshas was scheduled to go on floors in July. The film was described as a period film set in the pre-Independence Era with a mythological backdrop, and Ranveer’s character was rumoured to have shades of grey. If the recent reports are anything to go by, Ranveer and Varma might team up again for Rakshas and kick off shooting as per earlier schedules, as soon as things settle between them.
