Rajkummar Rao
Rajkummar Rao, known for his powerful performances in films like Stree and Newton, recently revealed a deeply personal side during an interaction.
Speaking on the current national situation at the HTCity Stars in the City segment, the actor expressed heartfelt support for India’s armed forces and administration following the tragic Pahalgam terror attack that claimed 26 innocent lives.
What stood out during the conversation was Rajkummar’s confession: if he weren’t an actor, he would have chosen to serve in the Indian Army.
When asked by a fan what career he would have pursued had he not become an actor, Rajkummar gave a strikingly honest reply.
Rajkummar Rao shared that acting had always been his only dream, and he never considered a backup plan. He said his sole focus was on making that dream a reality.
“To be honest, since I was little, this is the only thing I’ve wanted to do—acting. I’ve worked hard only towards this. I’ve never thought of a Plan B,” he shared. However, if he were to choose another path hypothetically, he would have joined the armed forces, as he has always been deeply fascinated by soldiers.
His thoughts reflected not only his unwavering commitment to his craft but also a genuine admiration for those who dedicate their lives to serving the nation.
He also spoke about the recent retaliatory airstrikes under Operation Sindoor, which were launched in response to the Pahalgam terror attack. Expressing solidarity with the administration, Rajkummar emphasized that the nation is united in grief and pride, and that he, along with many others, stands firmly with the armed forces during this critical time.
