SS Rajamouli's magnum opus RRR has been postponed once again postponed due to Omicron and the steep rise in Covid cases in India. However, this has not gone well with many in the Telugu film industry.

Apparently, many producers and stars are rumoured to be infuriated with Rajamouli as he is eying April release for his film. Reportedly, many film makers had earlier postponed their release dates for RRR.

RRR was initially announced for the Dussehra (2021) release, forcing many to give way for the magnum opus.  However, the movie did not release.

Now, the movie is reportedly targeting Sankranthi due to which films like Acharya, Bheemla Nayak and others may postpone their releases once again and fail to cash on the festival advantage.

It is pertinent to mention here that Sankranthi and Dussehra are considered to be the two biggest seasons for Telugu movies. And due to the Pandemic, they have become more crucial for business, however, no one has got the advantage, thanks to RRR.

Now, reports are making rounds that due to this, many biggies of the industry are fuming and vowing not to co-operate and give a lee-way after the third wave.

According to them, they deserve the holiday's advantage more than RRR.

Notably, “KGF 2”, Vijay’s “Beast”, and “F3” are set to hit the theatres in April. So, if RRR plans to release in April, we might get to see a clash between RRR, KGF 2 and Beast which will be surely a treat for the fans. But, it will definitely affect box office collections of the films.

In case all these big films releases in April, it will be interesting to see whether NTR-Ramcharan's combined star power will be able to defeat Yash and Vijay at the box office.
