Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah fame Raj Anadkat shared his first Instagram post his alleged engagement rumours with his former co-star Munmun Dutta. Reports of their engagement have been doing the rounds on social media.
There were reports that Raj, 27, reportedly exchanged rings with 36-year-old Munmun. The insider further revealed that the two actors who have been rumoured to be dating secretly got engaged in a low-key ceremony, in the presence of families and friends.
Now, after refuting the rumours, Raj dropped a new video in which he can be seen expressing his love for cricket. He held a cricket bat in his hand as he also visited a stadium to watch a match. However, fans showed less interest in his cricket story and instead bombarded him with questions regarding his engagement to ‘Babita ji’.
“Bhai apki sagai Babitaji se hui kiya,” asked a fan while another wrote, “Bhai Babita ji kaisi hain.” A third user wrote, “It is his life, woh jisko chahe usko shaadi karega.”
Raj is rumoured to be dating his co-star Babita ji who is 9 years elder to him. However, the two actors have always maintained that they are not in a relationship and they are not engaged.
“Hello everyone, just to clear things up, the news you’ve been seeing on social media is false and baseless,” shared Raj on his Instagram stories.
Similarly, Munmun took to her Instagram and wrote, “This news is ridiculous, fake and ludicrous. Zero ounce of truth in it. And frankly, I don’t want to give my energy to this fake thing that keeps coming up again and again.”

Notably, Munmun plays the role of Babita ji in the popular sitcom Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah while Raj plays Dilip Joshi’s son Tappu. Raj announced his departure from TMKOC in December 2022.
