National Crush Rashmika Mandanna who is currently basking in the success of her latest release Puspha alongside Allu Arjun, has opened up on self-fight, anxiety and comparison, which are considered to be taboo topics to be discussed by a leading actress.
During a recent interview with News18, the Pushpa actress admitted that like any human being she also suffers from anxiety, self-doubt and fear of failure.
Rashoo accepted that she suffers from anxiety about her career, films and personal life. She said, "As human beings, we are constantly compared or we are asked to do something or behave in a certain way and we are constantly fighting within ourselves. We always ask ourselves whether we are good enough or what are we doing? It is all about confidence."
On being questioned how she handles them, she said that it is a process that she goes daily on improving and believing herself.
"It’s a process of everyday improvement. Like I can’t just wake up one day and be like, I am not going to be anxious anymore. It doesn’t work like that. I have to constantly motivate and believe in myself and that is what I try to do," Rashmika told News18.
She also opened up how she feels about the competition and her contemporaries. Rashoo said she doesn't look at her contemporaries as competition because their staring points are different. Rather for her, the real competition is she herself.
"For me, the competition is how good I was yesterday or in my last film," added the Geetha Govindam star.
Rashmika will be next seen in 'Mission Majnu' opposite Sidharth Malhotra which will mark her Bollywood debut. She also has a Telugu movie ‘Aadaalloo Meeku Johaarlu’ in her kitty.
