The much-anticipated sequel to Allu Arjun's 2021 pan-Indian hit, ‘Pushpa 2 - The Rule,’ is slated to hit theatres on August 15, 2024. This release date puts the film in direct competition with Rohit Shetty's cop saga, ‘Singham Again.’

Directed by Sukumar, the film stars Rashmika Mandanna as the female lead with Fahadh Faasil portraying the antagonist alongside Rao Ramesh, Sunil, Anasuya, Daali Dhananjaya among others.

Marking the New Year, the makers of ‘Pushpa 2’ shared a new image, confirming the August 15 release. 

The teaser reveals Pushpa's hand adorned with two rings and an ornament, generating heightened anticipation. Despite concerns about potential delays following actor Jagadeesh Prathap's arrest, the confirmation of the release date has come as a relief for fans.

The production house expressed confidence in ‘Pushpa Raj’ ruling the global box office in 2024, extending New Year wishes to fans. The hashtag '2024 Rule Pushpa Ka' was unveiled, adding to the excitement among fans.
