Pushpa 2: Janhvi Kapoor's clause for Devara 'delaying' special song shoot with Allu Arjun?

Sukumar's 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' starring Allu Arjun, Rashmika Mandanna and Fahadh Faasil in pivotal roles is a highly-anticipated movie. Fans got disheartened after the makers announced the postponement of the release date. Meanwhile, reports started doing rounds that the shooting was getting delayed, citing various reasons. However, there was no truth behind the circulating rumours. As per the last reports, Allu Arjun and Sukumar kickstarted shooting of the climax scene. Now, certain reports claim that Janhvi Kapoor's clause has complicated the matter for which the special song's shooting is getting delayed.

Recently, Janhvi Kapoor stunned the audience with her glamorous performance in 'Chuttamalle', an item song from 'Devara.' She was seen alongside Jr NTR and her sensual performance would certainly make anyone weak down their knees.   Notably, after showcasing her versatility in Bollywood, the actress forayed into the South film industry and her popularity is growing in the Telugu industry. Apart from Devara, she has reportedly signed another project with Ram Charan. Taking the back-to-back lineups in Tollywood into consideration, it can be said that Janhvi is becoming a favourite among Tollywood actors.

Earlier speculations were rife that Pushpa makers are considering to rope in Janhvi for a special item song, in place of Samantha Ruth Prabhu. However, the previous release date of Pushpa 2 and Janhvi's Devara commitment clashed for which makers were looking for another replacement. But, after Pushpa 2's release date postponement, makers once again considered Janhvi. However, a contractual clause in her agreement with Devara complicated the matter.

If the latest reports are anything to go by, the contract prohibited her from appearing in any other Telugu movie until Devara's release. This clause created a hurdle for shooting of the special item song with Janhvi. Now that Pushpa 2 is postponed to December and Devara is scheduled to release in September, the possibility of the Dhadak actress joining Pushpa 2 and shaking a leg with Allu Arjun is quite high.

Reportedly, Sukumar and Allu Arjun are looking for a talented and energetic dancer who can slay the viewers with her charisma and moves. The makers have plans to make the item song much bigger than 'Oo Antava'. Undeniably, Janhvi fits the requirements of the makers.

Well, if the reports are anything to go by if the contract clause of Devara gets sorted, Janhvi could join Allu Arjun and leave everyone's jaws dropped with her sizzling moves. However, fans need to wait for an official update from the makers.
