Pushpa 2: Janhvi Kapoor replaces Samantha in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-starrer!

Tollywood's Icon Star Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is the talk of the town. With each passing day new speculations and reports surface regarding the cast, fuelling excitement among all. After Sanjay Dutt, now speculations are rife that Janhvi Kapoor is the new entrant in Pushpa's world.

Recently, reports were abuzz that Sanjay Dutt might be having a powerful cameo in the movie. If the reports are anything to go by, Sanju Baba will be seen as a don in the sequel while Pushparaj aka Pushpa expands his Red Sandalwood smuggling syndicate. And, Bunny will confront Sanju in the movie. Now, the recent buzz in the industry suggests that Janhvi Kapoor has been roped in for a crucial role in Pushpa 2.

As per the buzz, the makers of Pushpa 2 approached Janhvi. If the buzz is anything to go by, the Mili actress will be replacing Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The Devara actress will perform in an item number similar to 'Oo Antava' from Pushpa: The Rise, that featured Samantha.

Notably, 'Oo Antava' featuring Sam shattered several records to emerge as a trending number. Considering the fact, the makers have locked another such song for the sequel. Earlier, it was speculated that Samantha would be seen again in the item number. However, reports claimed that she declined the offer. Later, speculations were rife that the makers were considering Telugu actress Sreeleela for the item number. However, the actress reportedly demanded a whopping amount of Rs 2 crore for which the makers temporarily shelved the idea.

Moreover, the makers also pushed the special song on the back burner until the musical composition was cracked by music director DSP as he had yet to crack the tune.

Now, it seems, that music composer Devi Sri Prasad has finalised the tune and is readying the track. And, the audience will get to see Janhvi's seductive performance on the item track.

Janhvi Kapoor- A threat to Rashmika Mandanna?

Well, if the reports are anything to go by, they will certainly enthral fans of Janhvi Kapoor. However, this might be a reason for concern for fans of the Dear Comrade actress.

Rashoo was last seen in Animal, opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Though Rashmika played the female lead in the movie, Triptii Dimri's short presence proved to be more impactful. Triptii stole the limelight from Rashoo by just appearing in one song in Animal.

Well, no official reports are backing the buzz of Janhvi Kapoor entering Pushpa's world. Fans need to wait for an official announcement from the makers.

'Pushpa 2: The Rule,' helmed by Sukumar is scheduled for theatrical release on August 15. The Telugu movie might witness a clash at the box office with several Bollywood and South movies.
