Priyanka Chopra who has emerged as a global star is currently busy promoting her upcoming sci-fi series, Citadel. The Quantico star was recently seen at SXSW Studio and during her interaction with the host, she addressed and opened up on Shah Rukh Khan's comment about not moving to Hollywood.

During the interaction, the interviewer questioned Priyanka about the reluctance of many Indian stars to move to Hollywood citing Shah Rukh Khan’s comment.

“So many desi actors, like Shah Rukh Khan, say ‘why should I go there (Hollywood), I’m comfortable here,” the interviewer said and asked Priyanka how she was able to navigate the American entertainment industry.

In her reply, Indian Express quoted the Bajirao Mastani actor saying, "Comfortable is boring to me. I am not arrogant, I am self-assured. I know what I am doing when I walk onto a set. I don’t need the validation of executives. I am willing to take auditions, I am willing to work. I do not carry the baggage of my success in one country when I walk into another country.”

Priyanka further said that her ego is not bigger than her job. She proudly said, “I am very professional and if you ask people around me, I am known for my professionalism. I take pride in it.”

However, Priyanka’s comment on Shah Rukh Khan's statement came as a shock to many as both stars have in the past worked together in movies like Don, Don 2 and Billu Babber. She had also a cameo in SRK's 2011 film Ra.One.

On the work front, apart from Citadel, she will be seen in Love Again with Sam Heughan and Celine Dion. She will also be seen in the Bollywood movie Jee Le Zaraa, alongside Alia Bhatt and Katrina Kaif.
