Excitement and anticipation have peaked for the much-awaited film, ‘Salaar: Part 1 - Ceasefire,’ featuring the dynamic duo of Prabhas and director Prashanth Neel which is slated for release on December 22.

The collaboration between the Baahubali star and the creative force behind ‘KGF’ has kept fans eagerly waiting as it promises to be a cinematic spectacle. Adding to the star power, Malayalam superstar Prithviraj Sukumaran plays a pivotal role in this action-packed extravaganza.

Since the release of the trailer, inevitable comparisons have arisen between ‘Salaar’ and the blockbuster ‘KGF Chapter 2.’

In a recent interview with News18, Prithviraj Sukumaran addressed these comparisons, asserting that ‘Salaar’ is ‘much bigger and grander’ than its predecessor. Expressing his admiration for Prashanth Neel, Sukumaran remarked, ‘Salaar is much bigger and grander than KGF 2. The scale of the film is so huge that it can even dwarf KGF 2.’

Sukumaran went on to draw parallels between ‘Salaar’ and the epic drama ‘Game of Thrones,’ highlighting the film's intricate character dynamics and captivating drama.

Sharing his experience on the sets, he said, "I remember walking on the sets of Salaar and literally feeling dwarfed by it. That’s the kind of drama and character dynamics the film has with a lot of action. It is essentially an action entertainer with some spectacular action sequences and some of the best hero elevation moments."

The star-studded cast of ‘Salaar ’ includes Shruti Haasan, Jagapathi Babu, Tinnu Anand, Bobby Simha, and Eeswari Rao. The film is set to clash with Shah Rukh Khan's ‘Dunki’ at the box office, with the latter directed by Rajkumar Hirani and also featuring Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Boman Irani, Vikram Kochar, and Anil Grover.
