Prasanth Varma unleashes the most ferocious superhero MahaKali, teases update on PVCU3

Ending all speculations surrounding the third project under Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU3), the filmmaker teased a major update on launching female superhero Mahakali on Thursday.

Taking to social media, Varma made the announcement of PVCU3 project titled Mahakali. As it seems from the title, the movie will revolve around the female superhero of the franchise, embodying the power of Goddess Kali, the fiercest destroyer of evil.

Teasing the update, Varma took to social media and wrote, "Excited to join hands with @RKDStudios to bring a powerful new force to the universe. Presenting the rise of #MAHAKĀLI - an embodiment of Goddess Kali, the fiercest destroyer of evil. This Navratri, we’re breaking the mold and redefining what a superhero can be." (sic)

The post is accompanied by a short video clip giving an idea about the female superhero.

The text scroll in the video reads, "The most ferocious superhero superhero in the universe. She is calm and the chaos. Silence and the roar. Creation and the destruction."

In another post, Varma wrote, "On this auspicious occasion of Navratri, I’m thrilled to share something very special. Together with @RKDStudios, we proudly present the tale of an invincible warrior, the protector of the righteous, and the ultimate destroyer of evil. From the universe of #HanuMan, prepare for the rise of ~ #MAHAKALI" (sic)

The movie will be helmed by Puja Kolluru and produced by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal. Varma has joined hands with RKD Studios to introduce the female superhero of the franchise.

While the latest announcement has filled excitement among all, a few were hopeful that the update will be on the much-awaited Jai Hanuman. 

Notably, Varma has already announced that his Cinematic Universe will be vast. While Jai Hanuman has already been announced, the maker had disclosed about launching a female superhero, who will closely resemble every Indian woman. Briefing about the female superhero, Varma had said that every woman will connect with her.
