Rebel star Prabhas’ Salaar: Cease Fire – Part 1 continues its dream run at the box office. The action drama has finally entered the Rs 400-crore club in India. Over three weeks, Salaar has amassed a total of Rs 401.60 crore, a Sacnilk report said.

The film continues to perform well despite its clash with superstar Shah Rukh Khan’s ‘Dunki’. While Dunki has raked in Rs 447 crore worldwide, Prabhas’ Salaar has crossed Rs 650 crore global collections.

Set in the fictional city of Khansaar, Salaar revolves around two friends Deva (Prabhas) and Vardha (Prithviraj) and also stars Shruti Haasan, Sriya Reddy, Jagapathi Babu and Eshwari Rao in pivotal roles. The Prashanth Neel-directorial has already broken the record collection of Prabhas’ Baahubali: Part 1.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly waiting for Salaar: Part 2 with much anticipation after Deva turns out to be the real king of Khansaar. While he is the real ruler of Khansaar, he has unknowingly promised the king’s chair to his friend Varadha. Fans are super excited and can’t wait to see who reigns the Khansaar throne in Salaar 2.

In what comes as good news for Prabhas fans, the makers of the film have now decided to release the film in Japan. Salaar is scheduled to hit Japanese theatres in the summer. It will also be released in Latin America in Spanish on March 7.

Meanwhile, the makers of Salaar organised a success party in the presence of the cast and crew of the film. The film turned out to be a saviour for Prabhas’ career after back-to-back debacles like Saaho, Radhe Shyam and Adipurush.

The Rebel star is now gearing up for the release of his upcoming movies Kalki and Spirit.
