Prabhas-led Kalki 2898 AD is the most awaited movie of this year. Directed by Nag Ashwin the multi-starrer flick has been attracting attention from the day it was announced. Last week there were strong rumours that the action thriller based on science fiction has cracked a massive digital deal for its Hindi version. However, those rumour were never confirmed.

Nevertheless, now Filmy Tollywood has reported that the Kalki 2898 AD team has created history by cracking the biggest digital deal ever. According to the source, the makers have sold the digital rights in 5 languages for a whopping price of 375 crores. Reportedly the movie is being made on a huge budget of around 600 to 700 crores and if the news about digital rights being sold at 375 crores is true then the producers seem to have already recovered around half the invested amount.

Kalki 2898 AD is high on action and hence the director is spending huge time and money on CGI and VFX sequences. An international-level team has been hired to ensure that all the action scenes look realistic, and appealing and make an impact.

Earlier the movie was expected to release on May 30 but since a lot of post-production work is still pending the makers decided to delay its release date. There is a strong buzz that the makers are going to decide on the release date finally in a meeting this week and it will be either on June 20 or July 12.

With big stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone , Kamal Haasan, Disha Patani, and more sharing the screen with Prabhas for Kalki 2898 AD, it is sure going to be a big treat for Indian movie buffs. Prabhas’ last release Salaar Part 1- Ceasefire was a big hit and it is expected that his stardom will ensure that Kalki 2898 AD emerges as a blockbuster.
