Fans of Prabhas are now in celebration mode as the star basks in the glory of Salaar's resounding success. The action-packed thriller, directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Hombale Films, has not only crossed the Rs 300-crore mark at the box office but has also made an indelible mark globally, surpassing Rs 500 crore.

In a heartfelt expression of gratitude towards his fans, Prabhas acknowledged the overwhelming response Salaar has received. The actor was quoted saying by News 18, "Every single person involved in the project has put out their heart to deliver their best, and we are thrilled to see the positive impact it has had on the viewers."

Salaar, a mass action spectacle, features Prabhas as Deva/Salaar, alongside Prithviraj Sukumaran, Jagapathi Babu, and Shruti Haasan.

The film's extraordinary performance spans multiple languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and Hindi, with unprecedented success in the overseas market.

Hombale Films, riding high on a string of blockbusters like KGF Chapters 1 and 2 and Kantara, secures another milestone with Salaar. The film's digital rights, reportedly acquired by Netflix for a staggering Rs 162 crore in all five languages, set a new record for the highest-ever OTT deal for a South Indian film.

While anticipation builds for Salaar's digital release on Netflix, speculations hint at a January unveiling, coinciding with the festive occasion of Sankranthi on January 12. However, an official confirmation from the filmmakers or Netflix is awaited about the blockbuster's digital debut.
