Yes, earlier during an interview, Prabhas revealed that he didn’t want to become an actor. Rather, it was his father Uppalapati Suryanarayana Raju , who wanted to see him as an actor. Holding his idea for a long time, out of the blue at the age of 19, he said to his father that he wanted to become an actor.

It was his father, who inspired him to give it multiple trials even though he hesitated to face the camera.
