Continuing its theatrical run successfully, the Nag Ashwin directorial is scripting new box office records. Undoubtedly, after 'Baahubali 2: The Conclusion' fans were waiting for such a blockbuster. While the sequel announcement has filled excitement among all, recently it has been learnt that Prabhas is all set to clash with Mega Powerstar Ram Charan.

Recently, it was revealed on Balayya’s ‘Unstoppable With NBK’ that Prabhas and Ram Charan are great friends who share a strong rapport. Their phone call on the show delighted fans, but while they are friends in real life, they are set to clash on the silver screen this December.

Vishnu Manchu’s ‘Kannappa’ is slated for a December release, generating significant buzz since its teaser release featuring high-octane action scenes. The film stars Prabhas, Mohanlal, Akshay Kumar, and Kajal Aggarwal. On July 18, Vishnu Manchu took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to announce the update, writing, “December 2024 Kannappa (folded hands emoji) Har Har Mahadev.”

Meanwhile, Ram Charan and director Shankar’s big-budget film ‘Game Changer’ is also likely to be released in December. Initially, reports suggested a Dussehra release, but due to delays, the film has been postponed. Producer Dil Raju hinted at a Christmas release during a pre-release event for Dhanush’s ‘Raayan’ in Hyderabad. Responding to the crowd's chants of ‘Game Changer’ with a smile, Dil Raju said, “Game Changer? Let’s meet during Christmas.”

Ram Charan completed the shooting of ‘Game Changer’ by July. The political thriller, written by Karthik Subbaraj and directed by Shankar, will see Ram Charan in triple roles. The film also stars Kiara Advani, SJ Suryah, Anjali, Jayaram, Srikanth, Sunil, Samuthirakani, and Nassar.

On the other hand, helmed by Mukesh Kumar Singh, ‘Kannappa’ centres around a staunch devotee of the Hindu god Shiva. The film, produced under the banners of AVA Entertainment and 24 Frames Factory, aims to deliver magic on the silver screen. It also stars Sarathkumar, Brahmanandam, Mukesh Rishi, and Madhoo, and has been shot in Telugu with dubs in Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, and English.
