Indian Idol 12 fame Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal are currently basking in the glory of their first International music concert together in the UK. Both the singing stars have come a long way in their careers to achieve the success after their appearance in Sony TV's singing reality show.
However, this success has not come easily to them as they have toiled hard and practised for years without being disheartened over failures. Both Pawandeep and Arunita have a similar kind of journey to success. The duo had exposure to music right from their childhood.
Pawandeep comes from a musical family as his father, Suresh Rajan is a popular Kaumani folk singer while his sister Jyotideep Rajan is also a singer.
Similarly, Arunita has been learning classical singing from her maternal uncle from the tender age of four.
The duo had participated in many competitions and shows before participating in Indian Idol, which seems to have opened the door of success for them.
But many AruDeep fans may not be aware that Indian Idol 12 is not the first reality show that Pawandeep and Arunita participated in. They had earlier been part of other reality shows and won it also.
Pawandeep participated in "The Voice India Season 1" in 2015, which he went on to win. Pawan was part of Shaan's team. Similarly, Arunita had participated in Bangla Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil’ Champs in 2013, which she won. She had also participated in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Lil’ Champs in 2014 and was part of Monali Thakur's team.
Even though the duo had won the shows initially in their career, they were not able to create the magic and achieve the success that every artist dreams of. But Indian Idol 12 proved to be the game-changer for them.
As the saying goes, "Everything comes to you at the right time. Be Patient", it seems Pawand and Arunita's patient and hard work is finally rewarding them and their time has come to rule the hearts of millions of audience with their singing skills.
