Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal often grab headlines due to the rumours surrounding their alleged romance, but the duo has never openly accepted their relationship. They have always maintained that they are close friends and singing partners. 

Recently, Pawandeep and Arunita's magical chemistry once again seen on the stage of Superstar Singer 2 where they were seen dancing together on the melodious tunes of Ishq Wala Love in a romantic set-up, leaving their fans in awe and adding fuel to their dating rumours.

However, Indian Idol 12 contestant Anushka Banerjee has now opened up on Pawandeep and Arunita's rumoured relationship and shared her thoughts on the same during an interview with ETimes.

Anushka said that Pawandeep and Arunita are very close friends. They are very compatible when it comes to singing. 

However, she has not asked Arunita about her relationship with Pawandeep because she believes it is their personal thing and if anybody has the right to speak on the issue, it should be either of them. 

"It's their personal thing. If anybody has to speak, it should be either of them. Whatever is happening, let it happen. I was of that mindset, hence did not ask," replied Anushka on being questioned if she didn't feel curious to ask about their relationship.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Pawandeep Rajan and Arunita Kanjilal are currently seen as captains on Superstar Singer Season 2.
