Pakistani actress Hania Aamir recently held a meet-and-greet event in Dallas, US, but had to leave midway due to a shocking turn of events. In a heartfelt statement on Instagram, Hania revealed the incident that led to her abrupt departure, accusing the event organizers of assault and unprofessional behaviour.

Hania shared that while interacting with fans, she overheard one of the organizers verbally abusing her manager. Concerned, she approached the scene to address the situation but was met with hostility. The situation escalated when the organizer verbally assaulted her and compromised her security.

Detailing the ordeal, Hania wrote, “I was taking pictures with my fans when I heard an organizer verbally abusing my manager. I confronted him, and my manager, visibly upset, went backstage. I followed her to check if she was okay.” She added, “We decided to continue taking pictures backstage, but the organizer ran after us, hurling insults, calling off security protocols, and verbally assaulting us further.”

Hania expressed her frustration over the mistreatment, particularly as a woman in a male-dominated field. “Being women in these spaces does not give anyone the right to assume they can get away with such behaviour. We will stand up for ourselves,” she asserted.

The actress also addressed her fans’ disappointment, apologizing for how the event unfolded. “To everyone who came, I love and respect you immensely. I’m deeply sorry it ended this way,” she wrote. Hania also called on media outlets to responsibly report incidents rather than spreading baseless allegations.

The actress’s statement came after fans voiced their disappointment on social media regarding the abrupt end of the event. Despite the controversy, both Hania and her co-star Fahad continue to receive global acclaim for their performances in the hit drama Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum.
