August is set to witness release of a number of intriguing films and web series, including Alia Bhatt’s Hollywood debut Heart of Stone, the highly anticipated Made in Heaven Season 2, Guns and Gulaabs, and many more. 

Here is a list of all the new OTT movies and shows coming this August 2023:

Guardians of Galaxy Vol 3 (Disney+Hotstar- Aug 2, 2023): Still reeling from the loss of Gamora, Peter Quill must rally his team to defend the universe and protect one of their own. If the mission is not completely successful, it could possibly lead to the end of the Guardians as we know them.

Choona (Netflix- Aug 3, 2023): The show unveils the daring plan of six ordinary individuals seeking revenge against a powerful politician (Jimmy Shergill) through a radical heist.

The Hunt For Veerappan (Netflix- Aug 4, 2023): This docuseries offers a thrilling cinematic series delving into the 17-year-long manhunt for India's most notorious fugitive Veerappan.

The Jengaburu Curse (SonyLIV- Aug 9, 2023): Touted as India’s first Cli-fi series, the show depicts a unique relationship between the indigenous Bondia tribe and the mining state of Odisha. The show, based on the true story of The Jengaburu Curse, exposes humanity’s never-ending hunt for natural resources.

Made In Heaven Season 2 (Amazon Prime Video- Aug 10, 2023): Starring Sobhita Dhulipala, and Arjun Mathur, Made in Heaven Season 2, continues its exploration of complex themes, social prejudices, and modern aspirations set amidst opulent Indian weddings.

Heart of Stone (Netflix- Aug 11, 2023): Rachel Stone (Gal Gadot) is an intelligence operative, the only woman who stands between her powerful global peacekeeping organization and the loss of its most valuable -- and dangerous -- asset. The film also marks the Hollywood debut of Alia Bhatt.

Star Wars Ahsoka (Hotstar- Aug 23, 2023): The series follows the iconic Ahsoka Tano's quest to locate the missing Jedi, Ezra Bridger while pursuing the evil Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Guns And Gulaabs (Netflix): Starring Dulquer Salmaan, Gulshan Devaiah, the film takes audiences back to the 90s, exploring a world of crime and the love-struck misfits entangled in chaos.
