Irrfan Khan had a great fascination for numerology

The Piku actor was highly attracted towards numerology and its science. And that is why he changed his name from Irfan Khan to Irrfan Khan. The extra R helped him to excel in his profession according to a few numerologists. Born on January 7 in 1967, his birth number was 7 whereas his destiny number (total of his complete birth date) was 4. Based on these configurations numerologists had suggested him to add on R in his name.

There is no doubt that Irrfan Khan was a fabulous actor and he deserved all the international name and fame. But many believe that addition of that extra letter in his name helped him go beyond the national boundaries and work in celebrated movies like Life of Pi and Slumdog Millionaire.

Furthermore, numerology also played an important in his death. When Irrfan Khan died his wife Sutapa Sikdar said that the "clock had stopped at 11.11 on April 29" for her. This particular number is considered highly significant in numerology. An emotional Sutapa also said that since Irrfan Khan had a great fascination for numbers his passing away at such a significant time makes his death more poignant.
