OMG 3: After wrapping Bhooth Bangla, Akshay Kumar begins conceptualizing 3rd part with Amit Rai!

Akshay Kumar recently announced the wrap-up of his upcoming horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, helmed by Priyadarshan. The Hera Pheri actor shared a clip in which he is seen with Wamiqa Gabbi near a waterfall. Reportedly, the duo shot a song in Kerala and wrapped up the film. Well, according to a recent report, OMG 2 director Amit Rai accompanied Akki to Kerala for three days and the duo brainstormed ideas for OMG 3 (Oh My God 3).

Akki Begins Conceptualising OMG 3?

According to an exclusive report by Pinkvilla, Amit Rai accompanied Akki and the Bhooth Bangla team to Kerala. During the weekend, Amit and Akki discussed multiple ideas for OMG 3.

A close source to the development revealed to the entertainment portal that Amit had multiple ideas for OMG 3 and he discussed all the plot lines with Akki during his stay in Kerala. Reportedly, the duo brainstormed on all ideas and even discussed possible new routes that could be apt for OMG 3.

After their discussions, Akki is looking forward to Amit coming with the final draft of OMG 3, the source informed.

As per the source, the plans are to take the third instalment on floors in 2026. However, shooting plans for OMG 3 largely depend on script completion.

Further, the source also revealed that the casting will be finalised after the script is locked. If the report is anything to go by, much like the previous two parts, the third instalment of the OMG franchise will be a social dramedy, set up in a courtroom.

However, fans have to wait for an official announcement about the same.

Notably, after wrapping Jolly LLB 3, Akshay Kumar recently wrapped up Bhooth Bangla. Next, he has Hera Pheri 3. While shooting of the third instalment of the comic caper already kickstarted, the recent announcement of Paresh Rawal's exit has left many baffled about the project's future.
