Actor Babushaan files anticipatory bail plea in Orissa High Court

Actor Babushaan Mohanty on Wednesday knocked the doors of Orissa High Court seeking anticipatory bail in connection with a case filed by his wife.

Recently, the actor's wife Trupti Satpathy had lodged a case under section 498 ‘A’ against him at Kharvel Nagar Police station while a case under IPC section 506 has been registered against his co-actor Prakruti Mishra.

The Police on Sunday recorded the statements of seven persons based on the two separate FIRs registered by Trupti and Prakruti Mishra’s mother Krushnapriya Mishra.

On Wednesday, the Sister Sridevi actor returned to Odisha after three days of serious controversy following a dramatic unfolding of an incident in which his wife was seen heckling him and Prakruti Mishra on road in full public glare in Bhubaneswar.
