Ollywood star Arindam ties knot with Minister's sister

Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor Arindam Roy tied the knot with Anupa Das, sister of Energy Minister Pranab Prakash Das, at a city hotel here last night.

Many political heavyweights, including Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Chief Secretary AP Padhi, BJP State president Basant Panda and MP Baijayant Panda attended the wedding. Prominent actors from the Ollywood industry, including Prashant Nanda were also seen at the ceremony.

The marriage was performed as per the Bengali rituals. The reception will be held at OCA Club in Cuttack on December 7. Born in a Bengali family in Cuttack on 29 March, 1985, Arindam is popular for his Odia movies like ‘Ishq Tu Hi Tu’, ‘Hero’, ‘Raja Jhia Sange Heiegala Bhaba’ and ‘Criminal’.
