Prior to his entry as an actor, Prem had worked in several films as a director.

“It is a dream come true for an actor like me from Odisha. There were several criteria including martial arts, acting and good physique for getting selected for the role. Luckily, I had a lot of videos to support this and it really helped me to bag the key role,” said Prem.

On his character in Commando, Prem revealed that as one of his friend’s husbands is a commando in real life, it helped him to observe and visualise the struggle with unique stories. Everything they do and what we watch in cinema is real, he said.

“Six pack were important for the character in Commando. From Bhubaneswar to Hansaj College, the journey was tough. There are a lot of problems, but I don’t think much about problems. I had a lot of faith in God and it happened,” said Prem.

According to Prem, he would certainly love to work in Odia films if the opportunity knocks on his door.
