Odia actress Bidusmita alleges Rs 15 lakh fraud by real estate firm, lodges complaint 

Popular Ollywood actress Bidusmita Dash Mantry has filed a police complaint against a real estate company for allegedly duping her of Rs 15 lakh on the pretext of providing a plot in Bhubaneswar.

According to sources, the 'Badhu Nuhen Mu Bandhu' actress in 2019 had contacted Real developers & Construction to buy a plot in the capital city.  

The managing director of the real estate firm, Arunjyoti Pattnaik had allegedly assured her that he would provide her a plot in Kalinga Vihar area.

As per the agreement, Bidusmita claimed to have deposited Rs 15 lakh in advance and was supposed to pay the remaining amount after the registration of land.

The real estate MD reportedly assured the actress that the land registration would finish within two months. However, the paper works are still pending, the actress alleged.

Bidusmita alleged that though she contacted the real estate firm several times, they kept giving her false promises.

The Ollywood actress has lodged a complaint with the Khandagiri police station regarding the fraud. Acting on the complaint, the police registered a case and launched a probe.

It is worth mentioning that the actress is a member of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) since 2019.
