Tollywood superstar Jr NTR's upcoming film with KGF fame Prashanth Neel is one of the most awaited flicks. While Jr NTR's Bollywood debut flick War 2 alongside Hrithik Roshan is nearing completion, fans have been waiting for an update on NTR-Neel (NTR31). Fuelling excitement among fans, the film's team provided an update on Wednesday. According to the update, Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel are gearing up to go on floors soon.

On Wednesday, taking to the official page of NTRNeel, the makers made the major announcement of Jr NTR joining Neel for filming.

The post read, "NTRNeel is entering its most explosive phase. Man of Masses @Tarak9999 steps into the destructive soil from April 22nd.” (sic)

The post accompanied a poster reiterating the same.

Notably, NTR Neel went on floors in February this year. Reportedly, Neel filmed a fiery scene with extras. The Devara actor also shared a picture from the first day of the shoot on his Instagram stories. The photo shared by Jr NTR featured Neel standing in a vehicle while several extras stood behind a police barricade. Moreover, a beat-up Ambassador car is also seen on the road, seemingly in an accident and several damaged cycles are seen strewn near a fire.

Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel's upcoming action-packed flick was announced on the former's birthday in 2022. After a significant delay, the film went on floors in early 2025. While the makers are yet to announce the title and a release date, it is expected to hit the theatres in 2026. Earlier, the movie was scheduled for release in January 2026, however, there has been no update on it. Moreover, the makers are yet to reveal the cast and crew details.
