Much before the stupendous success of Baahubali and being a pan-India star, Prabhas gained the status of Rebel star and established himself as a huge star in South with the blockbuster ‘Varsham’. Starring Prabhas and Trisha for the first time, the movie went on to become a huge blockbuster and ran housefull in theatres for over 50 days.

Initially known for his angry young man avatar, Prabash won hearts with her portrayal of a lover boy in Varsham. Over the time, the movie became a cult classic in the career of both Prabhas and Trisha. Their on-screen chemistry was much loved by fans.

Although they worked in two more movies Pournami and Bujjigadu, the movies failed to break the records of Varsham. However, did you know that Trisha wasn’t the first choice for the film? The makers of the movie were keen to cast actress Aditi Agarwal, who was seen opposite stylish star Allu Arjun in ‘Gangotri’.

Luckily, Aditi rejected the role that eventually went to Trisha who had just started her career with a Tamil film ‘Mounam Pesidyadhe’. Due to Aditi’s unavailability, Trisha got her first big break in Telugu with Prabhas’ Varsham that soon established her as one of the leading actresses of South film industry.

On the work front, Trisha was recently seen in Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Leo’ directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj. Interestingly, Trisha also was not the first choice for Leo as Lokesh had approached actress Sai Pallavi for the role.

As the role did not have enough scenes, Sai Pallavi rejected the film which eventually landed in the laps of Trisha. Trisha will be next seen in Ajith Kumar’s Vidaa Muyarchi, Chiranjeevi’s Vishwambhara and Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thug Life’.

On the other hand, Prabhas is gearing up for the release of 'Kalki' and also has 'Spirit' with Sandeep Reddy Vanga and 'Salaar 2' with KGF fame director Prashanth Neel.
