Not Singham Again, Salman Khan will have cameo in...!

Rumour mills have been abuzz that Bollywood superstar Salman Khan will have a cameo in Ajay Devgn's upcoming Singham Again in his iconic cop avatar as Chulbul Pandey. Singham Again is all set to release this Diwali and excitement among fans doubled after media reports circulated that Chulbul Pandey from the Dabangg franchise will enter Rohit Shetty's Cop Universe. 

However, Bollywood trade analyst and film critic Taran Adarsh cleared the air in his post on X (formerly Twitter) that Salman is not having a cameo in Singham Again.

Adarsh in his X post labelled the rumours as 'false news' and refuted the claims made by the media.

Taking to his social media, Adarsh wrote, "#Xclusiv... CHULBUL PANDEY IN 'SINGHAM AGAIN'? FALSE NEWS... It seems the rumour mills are working overtime... Speculation is rife that #SalmanKhan's iconic character, #ChulbulPandey, will be making an appearance in #SinghamAgain. Let's stick to the facts: #SinghamAgain will not feature #SalmanKhan / #ChulbulPandey. (sic)

Further, he also revealed details about his cameo in another flick, starring Varun Dhawan in the lead.

His post read, "Dear #Bhai fans, #Salman will light up the screen with a special cameo in #BabyJohn [#Christmas 2024], starring #VarunDhawan, followed by the larger-than-life avatar in #Sikandar [#Eid 2025]." (sic)

Now, after the air is cleared, it has left the internet divided. While a section of users 'heaved a sigh of relief',  a few others have opined that Shetty must consider bringing Chulbul Pandey into his Cop Universe. 

One user commented, "But I think Rohit Shetty can consider this, I will Spark the movie. Bhai's appearances will।make a huge impact. Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Salman Khan, Ranveer Singh imagin the scene." (sic)

A second user wrote, "Chulbul Pandey is a cult character I don't think he will come in a universe which is associated with other actors." (sic)

"Hype ke liye #SalmanKhan ka naam use Kiya Gaya," wrote a third user. (sic)

However, a few others still believe that Salman's Chulbul Pandey will have a cameo in Singham Again. And the clarification is because the surprise was revealed.

"He is just creating the hype and the surprise element alive. Chulbul is definitely appearing in Singham," wrote one user. (sic)

"character ChulbulPandey will be making an appearance in SinghamAgain," wrote another. (sic)

Notably, Ajay Devgn and Kareena Kapoor Khan will reprise their respective roles. Akshay Kumar and Ranveer Singh will have cameos reprising their roles in the franchise. While Deepika Padukone and Tiger Shroff are the newest additions as cops, Arjun Kapoor will be seen as the antagonist in Singham Again. Veteran actor Jackie Shroff will also be seen in a key role.
