Nation’s heartthrob Vijay Deverakonda’s VD12 has been making a lot of noise on social media ever since its announcement. Directed by Nani’s Jersey-fame director Gowtam Tinnanuri, the film is touted to be one of the most awaited films of Deverakonda.
In what comes as good news for fans, the stunning Triptii Dimri who won hearts with her performance as Zoya in ‘Animal’ is all set to romance Vijay Deverakonda in the film. After the names of Rashmika Mandanna and Sreeleela popping up, reports suggest that Triptii is now being considered for the female lead.
As per reports, Sreeleela had originally been signed on to star opposite Vijay in the espionage thriller. However, the ‘Guntur Kaaram’ actress is now unable to adjust her dates for VD12.
Though this news is yet to be officially confirmed, fresh reports suggest that the makers of the film have now approached Triptii. If the reports turn out to be true, it would be a treat to watch both Triptii and Vijay for the first time together on screen. However, the makers of the film are yet to officially announce the name of the leading lady.
Meanwhile, Vijay Deverakonda is gearing up for the release of his upcoming movie ‘Family Star’ directed by ‘Geetha Govindam’ fame director Parasuram. The film will see Deverakonda in romance with the gorgeous Mrunal Thakur.
On the other hand, Triptii is currently busy filming her untitled movie with Vicky Kaushal and also has a new movie with the versatile Rajkummar Rao. She will also be very much part of Animal Park, the sequel of 2023’s blockbuster ‘Animal’.
