Not just Salman Khan, this actress also has a no kissing clause in her contract

It is a known fact that Salman Khan has a no-kissing clause in his contract. He stays away from doing intimate scenes and lip-locks. Even when he was doing his first movie as the male lead in Maine Pyar Kiya, he refused to do a kissing scene with Bhagyashree. Debutant director Sooraj Barjjatya wanted Salman Khan and Bhagyashree to do a kissing scene but when both the actors refused to do it Sooraj shot it in a very aesthetic way which to date is considered one of the most creative kissing scenes in Bollywood movies.

Over the years he got many offers to do an intimate scene or kissing scene on the screen but Salman Khan always maintained that if it can be done differently then there is no need to do all such scenes for the screen. Apart from the Bollywood superstar, there is one more star who has always stayed away from such intimate and kissing scenes.

And she is none other than Sonakshi Sinha who debuted in Bollywood with Bhajian in Dabangg. She is currently in the limelight for giving a stunning performance as Fareedan in Heeramandi. Discussing her role in the show Sona revealed how she loved the way Fareedan stays true to her character despite changing heart at the end. She also said that Sanjay Leela Bhansali pushed her to her limits and challenged her as an actor. Sonakshi Sinha said that SLB brought out the best in her in Heeramandi and she is now receiving all the love for this show which is amazing.

Speaking about doing intimate scenes in movies and whether she lost anything for refusing to do such scenes the Lootera actress said, “In my entire career I do not think I lost on anything which had an intimate scene or a kissing scene. I have always made it very clear to my director or the filmmaker I am working with that this is something I am not comfortable doing. Totally up to you. Still, you want to go ahead with me?”

This is the biggest advantage of coming from a film family. Tripti or any young outsider would never say no to kissing scenes even if they don't want to, but kudos to Sonakshi.

She added, “If you think as an actor I can bring something to the table I will do the film but please work, find a way around that. Let’s work it out. Or you are free to go to someone else who is comfortable doing that. So the option is always open.”
