The rumour mills were swirling with whispers of a potential collaboration of ‘Bebo’ Kareena Kapoor with KGF star Yash in his upcoming movie ‘Toxic’. However, before tongues can wag any further, Kareena’s team has rubbished the rumours and thrown cold water on the speculation.
Amid the report of Kareena and Yash starring together in ‘Toxic’, Bebo’s team shared an official statement urging the media to refrain from premature conjecture. The statement reads, “There have been many speculations doing the rounds about Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next film. While we understand the excitement and the anticipation, we request the media to refrain from premature conjecture about her next project and its star cast.”
This clarification from Kareena’s team has come as a shock to all her fans as everyone wanted her to share the screen space with Yash. The Rocky Bhai is currently one of the biggest superstars in the country and it would have been a dream collaboration.
However, hold onto your popcorn, because while Toxic may not be on Kareena Kapoor’s cards, something very exciting is brewing. While Kareena’s team broke the hearts of several fans with their announcement, they promised another exciting journey for Bebo ahead.
“Something very exciting is coming up very soon and we request everyone to wait for the official announcement soon,” the statement further stated. While the team did not mention any particular project, Kareena is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie ‘The Crew’.
She also has Hansal Mehta’s ‘The Buckingham Murders’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Singham Again’ opposite Ajay Devgn. Her last film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ with Aamir Khan was a box office failure while she impressed critics with her performance in Sujoy Ghosh’s ‘Jaane Jaan’, a Netflix original film.
